uigetfile for loading the mat file from different folder

I am using uigetfile for loading files from different folder and navigating it but the mat file is not loading in the workspace ......I m attaching the code used
[filename,pathname]=uigetfile('*.mat*','MultiSelect','on');
time=Temps';
var11=ABC;
var12=DEF;
var13=GHI;
...Any modification in code someone suggest.....So that data also can also be loaded on workspace.....Thank you in advance

@Prasad Joshi - try using load to load the variables from file into the workspace. I think that is all that you are missing once you have selected the file.
