Can we create SImulink DataDictionary from command window through APIs.

I wish to Automate simulink Data Dictionary creation by reading the parameters from excel and creating simulink object and then placing those objects in proper sldd files.
So far i can read data from excel,and Create simulink objects. But I have to manually add a sldd to the model and drag drop simulink objects from base workspace.
Can this Manual part be automated ?
