passing a sym variable to function handle

Can 2014-12-29

for that example of function handle line;

F=@(t,y) t*y;

is it possible to pass t*y into function handle externally like so:

A = t*y;
F=@(t,y) A;

i tried that and it failed, is there any other way to do so?
