Fitting data to a known function using numerical solution

I have a set of input values and output values of a function f(x).
Now,
zz= linspace(1,120e3, 1000);
A= 100.*exp((-alpha).*(1 : zz/2)) + gg.*exp(ff.*(zz/2 : L))
where, alpha is a known value. I need to find gg and ff values to fit the A to the output values of f(x).
I am confused how to to do this. Your suggestions would be highly appreciated. Thanks.
