Having Problems with Parameter Estimation Toolbox

Hope everyone is doing well.
I am trying to estimate the transfer function of a DC Motor with the Parameter Estimator App.
I have the following Reference vs Response data, which is saved into separate arrays. I also have the tout information as well.
I wanted to estimate the transfer function of the DC Motor with the Parameter Estimator App. However, when I open the app, here is my window:
I cannot choose the input data, as it is apparent from the window. In addition to that, I cannot add any variable from the Workspace, the window only allows me to choose signals from the Simulink Diagram. I cannot proceed to estimation due to those errors. Can you help me with that?

Hi Kaan,
It looks like you are unable to import time series data (input and output signals) to the Parameter Estimation App.
It would help if you could share the MATLAB Version you are working with. It can be obtained using the “ver” command.

It appears that you might be using an outdated version of MATLAB, potentially prior to MATLAB R2015a. In this version, the Parameter Estimation Toolbox lacks the capability to import signals from external sources such as the MATLAB Workspace or CSV/excel files. I suggest updating to a more recent version of MATLAB that allows importing data from external sources.
The above window is from MATLAB R2023b.
In case you choose to upgrade to MATLAB R2015a or R2015aSP1, please know that there is a known bug that causes an error when time-series data is imported in the Parameter Estimation App. You can find the bug report along with the relevant fix here: https://www.mathworks.com/support/bugreports/details/1241702
Refer to the following MATLAB documentation for further reference:
Hope this helps!
Best regards,
Saarthak
