How this launch point is different from takeoff point and how the mission plan is affected by the launch position altitude?

When I change the launch position altitude the Drone start from some distance away from the take off point.
Also if in the Qground control I keep both the launch position and take off position at same point the Drone is starting from some distance away from the point we kept as Launch or take off point.

This might be related to inital state settings in the model:
'photorealisticSimulationEngi/SimulationEnvironmentVariant/PhotorealisticQuadrotor/Simulation 3D UAV Vehicle' has "Initial Translation" Property
'MultirotorModel/Inner Loop and Plant Model/Low-FidelityModel/Quadrotor Plant' has "Initial State" property tab
"uavPackageDelivery/Multirotor (MultirotorModel)/Inner Loop and Plant Model/High-FidelityModel/Plant Model" has "Initial position in inertial axes [Xe,Ye,Ze]" property.
