PV-Wave/IDL source file to MATLAB?

Greetings all,
I don't know if anyone on here has experience with PV-Wave/IDL, but I havea source file from that program that I need to convert over into MATLAB. I hear PV-Wave is FORTRAM based, but I never used FORTRAN.
Is there an easy way to convert PV-Wave files to MATLAB files?

IDL is not Fortran; I am sure of that.
There is apparently an IDL to MATLAB converter: here. No idea how comprehensive it is.

Walter, thanks. I checked out the converter, it's not clear-cut on the install actually. They want you to download this C++ compiler and change some environment variables on my machine (I'm running Windows). Then it opens up a C prompt and you follow the instructions, and still doesn't work.
But thanks anyway.
