Hi there, I'm new to matlab so this may seem like a dumb question. I've checked forums and google for the answer but can't seem to solve my problem.

I'm trying to create an executable with my .m function but it returns

>>mcc
To use 'mcc', you might need:
  mcc - MATLAB Builder EX
  mcc - MATLAB Builder JA
  mcc - MATLAB Builder NE
  mcc - MATLAB Compiler
  mcc - MATLAB Production Server

My first guess is that I don't have a library for the commands so I downloaded Matlab Compiler but it still returns the same error when trying to compile a .exe. I'm sure this is an easy fix but I am stuck on this, any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
