Deployment Problems GUI to Exe (or Web or Desktop)

I have a GUI app at the development stage where it is ready to deploy for beta testing (approx. 5 beta testers).
I am running into Deploy teething problems.
When I attempt to package my current solution…
- Attempts to create an exe version are not possible. I am using a Home Licence. When I try to purchase the Compiler add-on, it is not included as an option for my Licence. Is Compile Add-On not available for the Home Use Licence.
- I am not given the option to create a Desktop, Web , Standalone, etc. versions. It goes directly to create an ‘mlappinstall’.
- The first time I tried to create a package, it was successful and I could install it on another Windows machine. It suggested all the correct functions and files that should be added. I was impressed. However, since then it does not list functions or files included and only selects an image file used for a button icon.
I am sure I am missing something obvious, but have spent considerable time doing the usual search for an answer…
Ps… footnote… Can I set default values for author, contact, title, description, etc to avoid retyping these for each repackaging of the latest version.

Did you check if that is actually possible in the home version? Some toolboxes are not available for home, as their main purpose is commercial.

The relevant toolboxes are not available for Home license. Home license is for personal use only.

I am assuming you are trying to access a toolbox that is not available with your license. You can create a sales request here and our sales team will get in touch with you. Contact Sales - MATLAB & Simulink (mathworks.com)

The toolboxes listed for the Home license in the online store are the only toolboxes available for the licence.
