How to get zero output in matlab when you have two singals in input

I don't have a code. My question is what the procedure if i have one signal(sound of insect). And I've been told to sink this sound with the help of another sound to get zero output

I don't know what "sink" means to you. Do you mean lower or decrease? Maybe you just want to multiply the signal by some scalar, such as 0 or 0.1???
scalingFactor = 0.1;
signal = signal * scalingFactor;
I also don't know how the second signal would be used. But if you want zero output, you don't need the second signal, you can simply do
signal = 0;

What's the procedure for this? I mean there should be some different methods to execute the such tasks. I neans to bring both the signals in phase by selecting a small portion of the signals or . Can you pls tell me what should i do from the start to the end in detail. I'll be grateful 🥺
