The function commandwindow should bring the focus to the Command Window, but it fails to do so in macOS.
Try it, it actually moves the cursor to the command window, but you will be unable to write or press enter. Only the up and down arrows work.
This happens in macOS Ventura, Matlab R2023a.

Hi Victor,
I understand that you are trying to shift focus to the Command Window using the 'commandwindow' function, and it is not behaving as expected on your system running macOS.
This is a known issue with MATLAB on macOS, and unfortunately the only workaround is to click on the Command Window to bring focus to it.
