column vector from another vector

Hi
I think it is a very simple question, but i coulnd't find a quick answer to this.. I want to create column vector from another cell. I allways seem to get row vector, not a column.
the code:
acd3sctrdata=[acd3cd8noly{5,1:end}];
how can I make it a column vector easily please?

Another way to obtain column vector is
acd3sctrdata=[acd3cd8noly{5,1:end}];
acd3sctrdata = acd3sctrdata(:) % another way
