Problems downloading Matlab 8.4 for Mac (Yosemite)

I only am able to get 1% downloaded before seeing this message:
The following error was detected while downloading mathbit_common_1406355432.enc: Wrong number of bytes: Expected 858, got 748
How do I get around this problem?
I am unable to find any security software on my computer that's running, so I don't think it is that or maybe I am looking in the wrong place.
Please help!

Can you try to disable any antivirus software on your computer? Also, try adjusting the System Preferences to allow downloading from anywhere (in System Preferences->Security & Privacy->General->Allow apps downloaded from).
