If you prefer working in MATLAB and the authors have the MATLAB codes, it could be a perfect match. I suggest discussing with your supervisor the possibility of collaborating with the selected authors. If one of them agrees, you can request the GMDH code from them. This way, you can modify the code to suit your application, and they can guide you as a co-author.

Hi @Jahetbe

If they don't respond to you, don't worry too much. You can start writing the code gradually on your own.

For instance, you can make some efforts to create a code for the simple GMDH equation. If you encounter an error when running the code, you can post a question on MATLAB Answers along with the code. Explain what the code does, how it works, and what you want it to accomplish. Most experts there are happy to assist you in getting your code up and running.
