Does MATLAB show reception sphere calculation?

I would love to know if there's a way somehow other than the vaguely described one in the Ray Tracing documentation main page, where it says the radius of the reception sphere is directly proportional to the angular average spacing and the distance travelled by the ray.
I have seen another question asked that shows that in version R2021a, there is a way to see this sort of equation for how MATLAB calculates exactly the reception sphere size: https://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/answers/815545-ray-tracing-with-raytrace-define-a-reception-local-area-instead-of-a-single-point
I would love to know how to check that in the later versions through the code for the raytrace() function, specially in R2023b or a versions. Or, if there's any link to a documentation that explains it in more detail, as I have yet to find anything related to it. I'm trying to explain missing ray phenomenon in MATLAB's ray tracing and this is essential in order to find out certain simulations' results.
