Cursor jumping behavior in live script in 2024a

20 次查看(过去 30 天)
I have a large live script I'm working on and when editing down towards the bottom the cursor position seems tolike to jump to the 0,0 upper left of the entire script when Ii'm scrolling to a different section (again pages down at the bottom of the script) and I have to rescroll all the way back where I was. Often times I click on a cell and as I start to type the cursor position jumps to the top of the file and inserts text on the first line.

Maybe a related issue if there are new bugs in how the editor handles the cursor/mouse: Since updating, whenever I mouse over text in the script editor window, the cursor icon rapidly switches between a mouse pointer and text cursor. It doesn't impact functionality, but is visually very annoying.

Hi Erick, I'm using R2024a and am experiencing what seems to be a related issue with Edit Fields in a Live Function. Every time I type a character into the Edit Field the cursor jumps out of the field to just after it (i.e. in the same line). In Live Functions the Execution - Run field is inactive, but when quickly turning the Live Function into a Live Script (by commenting out the function header line on top), the Execution - Run field becomes active. However, it is set to "Nothing" (i.e. don't run any part of the code when the edit field is changed), so this is not the issue. Also, it only happens with a few, seemingly random Edit Fields. When copying an Edit Field from another line of code where the erronous behaviour is not present and replacing the buggy Edit Field with it, the issue pops up again. I have yet to find a solution to it.
