Unable to install real-time windows target

3 次查看(过去 30 天)
I am running 64-bit matlab 2014b on a 64bit PC with windows 8.1. When I try to install real-time windows target using rtwintgt -setup I get the following error.
>> rtwintgt -setup
To use 'rtwintgt', you might need: rtwintgt - Real-Time Windows Target
I am really running out of time and i appreciate any help Thank you

Installing RTWT requires you to start MATLAB with User Account Control (UAC) previleges. Can you try raising your user privileges and seeing if the issue persists?

Dear Kumar,
As from MATLAB R2015a Real-Time Windows Target™ is now called Simulink® Desktop Real-Time™. Please first check if you have fullfilled all the requirements:
  • Requires MATLAB
  • Requires Simulink
  • Simulink Coder recommended
  • MATLAB Coder recommended
This can be done by typing 'ver' in the command line. More information can be found here: http://www.mathworks.com/support/sysreq/current_release/
Then you can install the kernel. This can be done on this Mathworks website. If a function does not work on the Mathworks page, that is that from R2014b to R2015a they have changed the function names. The new/old funcion names can be found here in the release notes.
If that was succesfully to, you can go to the step: " Run Confidence Test".
The total procedure can be found here.
Good luck! Christiaan
