Edit existing toolstrip - Add Format Variable Tab

So, here go. I am doing a lot of interpolation and I need to have my data show up in long decimals, not scientific notation. I have tried to use the format long code, but it does not work. I don't know why and I don't really care because I could quickly change it using the toolstrip. It was much easier this way.
But now I can't adjust the format of my variables at all. Something happened and I lost the ability to use the toolstrip to change the format of my variables. The Format Variable tab is just gone. How do I add the format variable tab back to the toolstrip? It was there just a few minutes ago and then something happened and the tab disappeared.
I managed to change the default for variables, but it would still be nice to have the format variable tab back.

Hi,
The Format Variable tab only appears when you open a variable (double-click it in the Workspace). I can see you’re selecting a variable in workspace, it should open variable tab by default.
Whenever, I face quick access toolbar problem in MATLAB Online, mostly resetting layout, refreshing browser works. Ensure that window size/Zoom is 100% using (Ctrl+0).

The docked Format Variable tab is hidden when no variable in the workspace is selected. It reappears when you double-click a variable to bring it into focus. This appears to be the intended behavior.

However, if you’ve lost access to the Format Variable tab entirely, the following general troubleshooting steps may help to resolve this issue.
Close and Reopen the Variable Editor
  • Close all open Variable Editor tabs.
  • Double-click a variable in the Workspace to reopen it.
  • Sometimes the toolstrip resets itself and the Format Variable tab reappears.
Refresh Your Browser
  • Completely refresh the MATLAB Online page (Ctrl+R or Cmd+R).
  • Log out and log back in if needed.
Reset Layout
  • In the MATLAB Online interface, click the Layout button (upper right, looks like a grid or panel).
  • Select Default or Reset Layout if available.
  • This can restore missing toolstrip options.
Browser Issues
  • Try a different browser or clear your browser cache. Sometimes browser extensions or cached data interfere with MATLAB Online's UI.
Known Issues / MATLAB Online Updates
