Redeploy Custom Toolbox - missing registration among Installed Add-ons and "Getting Started Guide" is not opened

Hi,
I'm developing a custom Toolbox and while for the first time everything seems to be working correctly:
  • The toolbox appears among installed Add-ons
  • During the installation the "Getting Started Guide" is opened
If I do uninstall of the Toolbox and installing it again, neither it is registered in the installed Add-ons, nor the "Getting Started Guide" is shown - the installation dialog just tells "Installation complete" and there is a error sound (bong) audible, but no errors or whatsoever shown.
The installation itself happens well, at least the folder for the add-ons get populated with update files, the MATLAB path is updated (though it's not saved). The Toolbox registers Toolstrip in Simulink and its updated/functioning well.
I've restarted MATLAB and PC. Tried to install several times, I see the files are updated, but the issues persist. I also did "rehash toolbox". Can't get the Add-on listed anymore.
Is there anything I can check about?
Will be very appreciated for any hint!
