how to read part of an excel that corresponds to a date chosen by the user in a gui matlab

Hi guys!
I extracted the excel file onto the gui but now i am struggling with extracting only part of the data. I want to extract only the data that corresponds to the date chosen by the user...
Does anyone know how to do that?
