Adaptive time stepping for Adam Bashforth methode

Hi everyone,
can anybody give me a suggestion for coding a alghorithm with the aim of optimal time stepping while using Adam bashforth technique to maintain the convergence? does anybody know which strategy is beeing used by ode113?

The answer for your second question can be fond out by executing the following command in MATLAB:
edit ode113
The M-script has descriptive comments. And also the script for ode113. I hope this helps.
