How do i put time for camera to take a picture?

I want to take a picture after a certain amount of time; I want the camera to get a snapshot after 10 sec I turn it on.Is there a way to do that?
vid=videoinput('winvideo');
start(vid)
I=getsnapshot(vid);
imshow(I)
stop(vid)

You may use the pause() function after the start(vid) statement.

But is there a way to put certain amount of time after turning on the camera? Because I dont wanna trigger the button myself again I want camera to do it automatcially.
