Is the Gaussian blur filter is a weighting distribution filter?

I have an equalized hsv image.Now i want to apply the Gaussian distribution on the equalized image. For that can I use Gaussian blur filter?? If the answer is No., how can I apply the weighting distribution on the equalized hsv image?

You can use imgaussfilt(). What effect are you trying to achieve? What do you mean by equalized? Do you mean histogram equalized? I would think doing that on all HSV channels would give a very strange looking image.

I know the gamma value Sir.. For applying gamma correction on the image, what should I do? Just use the mathematical equation for the 'gamma correction for image enhancement'
