Jagged lines in scatter plot

See image. The edges are jagged. How can I solve this?

hold all
for i = 1:50
scatter(rand(1).*10,rand(1)*10,400,[0 0 0],'linewidth',rand(1).*10)
end
hold off
axis equal
MatLab 2014b Windows 8.1 Pro AMD Radeon R7 M260

I don't know how (or even if) this can be done in Matlab. Once exported as a vector graphic this should disappear (e.g. eps, pdf)

I work on multiple computers. This happens on only some of them, running the same script.
So, @Samuel, I don't think this is a feature, I think it's a bug.
