fminimax for non-differentiable functions?

2 次查看(过去 30 天)
Can fminimax be used or reformulated to solve problems that do not involve continuously differentiable functions?
Many real-world applications of minimax require choosing an action out of a possible set of actions (e.g. playing a game of tic-tac-toe, should the player choose X or O? ) and require a solver that can handled non-differentiable functions.
If fminimax cannot do this, does MATLAB have an alternative that can be used to solve the type of minimax problems posed in game theory and decision making (for example)?
