How to terminate FMINCON in command window without loosing data?

7 次查看(过去 30 天)
Hi everyone!
I'm running an fmincon optimization (sqp) for 24 hours know. Unfortunatelly, it seems that the TolFun and/or TolX values are too low, and it won't quit. However, the data of the previous iterations would be really useful, and even though I'm constantly saving a few data into files, I do not have the inputs corresponding to each iteration. So my quitesion is that, if I would kill fmincon, would I be able to retrieve any of the previous data somehow?
Thanks in advance!

Hi David - if you are not logging anything to file (or even to the workspace) then I suspect that once you terminate your optimization, then you will lose all data used in that process.
