Add data point to graph

Hi everyone, I wanted to create an application where the user can click in a plot and add his own points, lets say blue and red points. I will later get the position of each pont and store it in an array. Obviously this is way to big for someone to post a complete solution, i just want some hints though onto how to achieve that. Thanks in advance

ginput() is commonly used for getting points from the user.
You may wish to examine the MATLAB File Exchange, as getting points is a component of a number of the tools there.
