Coursera version of matlab

I am taking the data science course at coursera and I clicked to get my matlab version for that course. But since the verification of my email address, I cannot see any option to actually get the free coursera version. Can you please help me

Hi Fatima,

I understand that you did not get a free MATLAB version after registering for data science course at Coursera. Since, Coursera will be providing access to MATLAB license they purchased, please contact the customer service of Coursera.

License questions are not within the scope of this forum, which is about the technical aspects of Mathworks products.

Cousera obtains MATLAB licenses from Mathworks, one group license for every course. Coursera is responsible for distributing the license codes to students, including being responsible for verifying that the individual is a registered user in the course. Mathworks gets told number of users, not who the users are, and Mathworks does not have access to the Coursera finance database to verify that, for example, the user did not drop the course or switch courses.

If Cousera were distributing a Bic™ Pen to each registered user, it would not be up to Société Bic S.A. to get a pen to the user.
