Does the gravitysphericalharmonic function in the Aero Toolbox use NASA gravity data

I am looking into using this function to calculate gravity instead of creating a function to read in NASA EMD96 gravity data found here: NASA Data . Can anyone confirm that the gravity function in Matlab uses this same set of data? I couldn't locate a source for the data in the documentation.

Hi John,
I think the best way to confirm this would be to go through the "References" section in the documentation for "gravitysphericalharmonic" function. I believe you will find your answer in one of the NASA technical reports being referred to.
