How to plot symbolic row matrix in MATLAB?

I have a row vector whose elements are all some arbitrary functions of x. How to plot this row vector on y-axis and index of element on x-axis?

I am not sure what exactly you want to do. But is it similar to your solution?
strain=([16 52 93 74 57 66 55 88 99 44]) % sym of 1x10 order
plot(strain)

strain=([x x-1 x+2 x^2 x*2 x+3 x+9 x-2 x x-10])
for i=1:10
subs(strain(i),i)
plot(strain,'o')
end
