Multiple / Batch files conversion from .Mat file format to .png format

Hello,
I have 1000+ .MAT files in a folder. I need to read those all files and want to save them .png file format. I have a running script for conversion of format. But my requirement is I want to do the batch operation of converting all the mat files to png by keeping in a loop.
Any kind of help or suggestions are greatly appreciated.
