Generating a C code using xPC target for simulink model of serial communication.

Hello, I am trying to establish a serial communication between target system and a sensor. And I have created a simulink model and also a matlab code to do so on my laptop(host). Now I need to send this code to the target system via xPC target. But there is no library to support serial communication blocks(Instrument control toolbox) in xPC target. Can you suggest any solution for this problem?

There are drivers available to support serial communication from within the Target application. The following link has more information on this:
