how to obtain a 3d bar -like plot with different size of bar

Hi,

I am facing a difficult problem, thanks for all your help. I want to get a 3d plot using bar3, or other functions if you know to get a bar like plot. However, when I use bar3, all the bars are the same size. I hope that I can preset each bar's size. I am not sure whether it's possible. One way is draw many bars with the same amplitude, but it's not pretty, since there is the sketch there. If you happen to know how to clear them, also great.

Probably hist3 or other function can help, but I appreciate your help.
