data representation for unique values

Hi I have about 6-7 different versions of the same dataset and I'm calculating some statistics on them. Let's say I calculate for a given property in each dataset, the count of occurences of each distinct element. For example for each dataset 1-7 (D1-D7), I take the state property and count their occurences:
Unique values for State
S1 S2 S3 S4 ...
D1
D2
D3
...
I want to show how for each different state, how the count has changed across the 6 datasets. Can someone please suggest what is the best way to visualise this information. Can we do better than a pivot table to show the changes across the datasets?
