Jumana - is im_texto an image or something else? Which code did you find this call to clip in?

If im_texto is an image, then you may need the code from Jeffrey Byrne's MATLAB FEX submission at https://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/fileexchange/43909-separable-steerable-pyramid-toolbox/content/sepspyr/deps/matlabPyrTools-1.3/clip.m.
