If I have a folder on partition E: E:\project 1\data
What would be the correct syntax to use with the path command?

To add the "E:\project1\data" folder to the MATLAB path, you can do this in the following way -
1. Use the path command -
>> path(path,'E:\project1\data')
2. Execute the following command to open the pathtool where you can add the folder graphically -
>> pathtool
