I have an academic Matlab license, and I want to compile and distribute my code to other academics. Do I need to pay any money?

We're compiling our academic data analysis for other academics to use, and it will hopefully be included in a published paper. My understanding is that a Matlab compiler license is very expensive. However we haven't paid any money yet, either for Matlab or the compiler. I guess this is because our Matlab license is through the university.
If we want to compile and distribute our code (i.e. not sell it or make any money off it), will we need to pay anything for the use of Matlab compiler?
