How do we start numbered lists in the Live Editor (i.e. in a live script) from a different number?

How do we start numbered lists from an integer other than 1? Is this feature not possible in MATLAB Version 9.1.0.441655 (R2016b)? Will it be added in a future release?
I have tried the keyboard shortcut rather than clicking to insert the list from the menu and disabling autoformatting via Preferences -> Editor/Debugger -> Autoformatting, but when formatting e.g. "9. test" into a numbered list, it still puts "1. " before it.
I wish to do this so that I can make a comment after one numbered list and then provide a second ordered list that is related to the first. Additionally, it may be useful for every item to have a unique number for ease of reference in the event of multiple numbered lists.
Thanks for reading.

I do not believe this is currently possible in live scripts, but is a good suggestion. I recommend submitting this as a suggestion here.
