simulate hourly data from monthly data

Hi All,
I have monthly temperature data from Jan-Dec. I want to simulate hourly temperature data from these monthly data. How do we do this in Matlab. I know that these values will be approximate and not exact but it is ok for my purposes. Please advise. Thanks

Simply you need to use interpolation.....read about interp1

Let TT - your data as timetable:
TT = timetable(datetime(2016,1 + (0:11)',1),randi([-100 100],23,1),'v',{'Values'});
T_out = retime(TT,'hourly','pchip');
