From MatLab 2017a running on MS Win 10, a user reports the following error message when launching the program:
The Shortcuts file has been regenerated to the default shortcuts due to a corrupted shortcuts_2.xml file. The original file has been saved in the prefdir as shortcuts_2.xml_recovery.
Is there a way to resolve this error message without re-installing the program?

Send the shortcuts files from the preferences directory (you can find the location using the prefdir function in MATLAB) to Technical Support and ask them for help determining how they were corrupted and how or if the corruption can be corrected.
