data import from java(string) to MATLAB function using varargin

Hi all,
I have problem import data from java consists of string data.
For example, argument in Java(string) is 50 50 50 100 100
In MATLAB, I want to import string using varargin.
String name is 'objective function'.
I think use fprintf, varargin ...
But I don't know construct script specifically.
