In the other question you referenced the use of SVD in color image watermarking papers. The papers I looked at do not apply SVD to 3D images: they apply it to the individual color planes.
Your first posting on this theme had to do with applying watermarking to a 3D medical image. A 3D medical image would not necessarily have the same properties that an RGB color image would have, so the procedures for watermarking an RGB image would not necessarily apply to a 3D medical image. Even if your hypthosis was true that those papers are somehow using a 3D extension of SVD, the hypothesized technique would not necessarily be applicable to 3D medical images.
I still have doubts about the acceptability of watermarking a medical image, but that might merely because my workplace researches medical image analysis and our programs would probably notice the structured information of the watermark and treat it as medically-relevant information to be correlated. If your medical images are not actually being used for medical purposes, then smearing their medical information might not be important to you.
