Simulink Test customCriteria - structRefFromNonStruct error

I am logging the data to monitor the active step of Test sequence block to workspace. I tried to use this logged data in CustomCriteria function using the following code.
data = test.sltest_simout.get('logsout').get('state').Values.Data(end);
and it returns the following error.The type of data is 'Enum:Test_Sequence_Active_Step_Enum'. What might be the problem? I had attached the logsout workspace file.

Hi,
Do you mind attaching your model and mldatx test file? It would give me a better idea about what's going on. Also, which version of Simulink are you running?
