How to zoom in synchronous together with 1d and 2d data on different subplots

Hi to everybody,
Better to explain w/ some code I think.
figure;
subplot(2,1,1);
plot(x_vector,1d_data);
subplot(2,1,2);
imagesc(x_vector,y_vector,2d_data);
%%%%
From this point if the plot is zoomed then according to the zoomed value of "x_vector" the imagesc will be zoomed.
I guess, linkaxes will be used.
Could anybody help me ?
Thx,
WR

figure;
ax1 = subplot(2,1,1);
plot(x_vector,1d_data);
ax2 = subplot(2,1,2);
imagesc(x_vector,y_vector,2d_data);
linkaxes([ax1, ax2], 'xy')
