Is it possible to determine x,y positions of images through a .txt file?

2 次查看(过去 30 天)
I am trying to give Matlab the x,y positions of a stack of images. If those images are hundred and each one of those have different x,y positions in order to be depicted, I need a method to specify it. I was thinking of embedding a .txt file in Matlab, writing for each image its x,y position. Is it possible to do that? Any idea?

Of course it is possible. Matlab is a generic programming language, you can make it do whatever you want as long as you write the code for it.

You can certainly have a text file or a binary file or a database or ... specifying the location of your images. If it were up to me, and I was the one outputting the images in the first place, I would embend their location as metadata within the image files themselves.

It is trivial to read a text file in matlab, so it's a bit unclear why you're asking the question.

Can you please give me an example of how to do it? Embed a .txt file in my code, to determine x,y image positions? Thank you
