How to close a HeatMap after generated or suppress it?

Hi everyone, I'm using the function HeatMap from the bioinformatics toolbox to plot some matrices as part of my scrip. The problem I'm facing is presumably quite simple; The HeatMaps pop out but the then stay there even after I plot and save. I used close all but surprisingly the HeatMaps sty there. I don't use heatmap because I'm running MATLAB2016b. Any idea on how to deal with this? Thank you in advance, Antonis
