How to get query point for a particular known interpolated value?

I have a 1-D array. Say, x=[1 2 3 4 5 6]. Corresponding to these x values I have, v=[12 34 45 78 89 97]. I want the value of x for which v=25. How can I achieve that? I guess its something with interpolation, can anybody help me with that?
