Is possible to generate code with variable description instead its value?

Hi,
I have created model which call C code using MATLAB Function. I want to generate code within Embedded Coder.
Is possible generate code which will use name of variable ( my_var) instead of value (in my model block Constant)?
I mean:
doubleIt(my_var);
