Problem to acquire data in Simulink external mode 2018a in combination with an I/O device

Hi,

I am using Matlab Simulink 2015a in combination with an I/O device (National Instruments) for data acquiring at a test-rig (temperature and pressure sensors). The System had worked without any problems until I updated Matlab to 2018a. When I click run in Simulink, no data will be recorded and the timestamp on the lower right side of the window only shows 0.000. It is as if the measurement is frozen. There is no error displayed. I followed the four steps on https://de.mathworks.com/help/sldrt/ug/set-external-mode-code-generation-parameters.html but it does not work. Has anyone ever had such a problem, maybe in 2017a/b? Does anybody know if there is another procedure in 2018a to use Simulink to acquire data (new blocks or new options/settings)?
