User Defined Function syntax

Is it possible make user defined functions (req) pop up with multiple syntax options like plotyy? If so how do it and how do you reference the extra inputs arguments?

Function hints this is all about. In MATLAB R2008b writing your own hints is not possible - check response #7 on http://blogs.mathworks.com/desktop/2008/10/20/function-hints/ . I have just checked release notes for next releases, focused on Develepment Environment http://www.mathworks.com/products/matlab/whatsnew.html, and it seems that making custom hints is still unavailable.
